Over the years we have seen a very obvious pattern. People that take care of their cars are happy. They like their car, they like us, they think we’re doing a great job and when they’re ready to buy another car they come back to us. People that don’t take care of their cars are not happy. By thirty or forty thousand miles they are already beginning to have problems. We fix one thing and something else goes wrong. They don’t like the car and they think we’re doing a poor job. Repairing and maintaining your vehicle is not only our job, it is a partnership. The choices are always yours. We are simply guides and facilitators.
Your vehicle, no matter how well it is built, is a machine. Machines need routine maintenance, care and attention. We will do our job by advising you of needed repairs and maintenance. We will not push or hard sell you. It is your car and the choices are always yours, but we feel it is incumbent upon us to keep you happy with your car and with us.
We have simplified the routine maintenance schedule to make it easy to understand and to remember. This simplification is based on plain common sense and is reflected in our pricing as well. Our managers will gladly advise you about your specific vehicle's routine maintenance requirements.
So why have you been paying so much money for service? I’ll tell you. When you bring your car in for service, you may be paying for alot more than routine maintenance performed, such as the cost of checking and inspecting your vehicle. (Check brakes, check belts, check lights, check hoses, check exhaust, check wipers and washers and seatbelts etc. )That’s what you’ve been paying for.
At Motronix our pricing for routine maintenance is based on the work actually performed, not for checking and inspecting your vehicle. A thorough inspection of your vehicle is performed at every oil change at no additional charge.
Why do we do this? Simple... if there is something that needs attention on your vehicle like worn brakes or tires, an oil leak or worn steering parts, worn belts or a rotten muffler, you need to know about it and we’d like the opportunity to do it for you. We try to be as thorough as possible and to keep you informed so you can make intelligent choices about your vehicle, it’s value and overall condition.
So stop paying the others to inspect your vehicle so they can sell you needed work. Pay only for work that is necessary.
Whatever you do it is most important that the person servicing your car knows your car and cares about you!
